Five First Basemen to Avoid in 2025

One list to rule them all

1. Alec Bohm - Alec Bohm will never be a thing. He’s too tall. People thought he would be the next Kris Bryant and they were right. Unfortunately, he’s Kris Bryant now instead of when Kris Bryant was good.

2. Yandy Diaz - Did you know Yandy Diaz is 35 years old(maybe)? You probably didn’t. All you know is that he hits the ball hard and on the ground. He already had his good season. It’s all downhill from here.

3. Connor Wong - I can’t believe this guy is showing up on lists. He’s a catcher and should only be slotted in that spot and, even then, don’t just CrockPot him. Look for someone actually good.

4. Cody Bellinger - No Yankee witchcraft for this bum. His days as a regular are numbered. He’s had some good years and some bad years. His good years from here on out will be meh, at best.

5. Triston Casas - Triston is the name of the cocky blonde kid at a snobby private school, not a league-winning first baseman.
